My Received Notifications Page

The Received Notifications Page is for the users to view the notifications sent to them by the Internal method. It can be accessed by going to the top bar menu and selecting Notifications → Received Notifications.

Unread Notifications are displayed in blue while previously read notifications will display in black. Clicking the Read button will open the individual Notification for viewing, and if the notification as a file to access, the user can click the Open button within the viewable message.

The user can delete Notifications by selecting them and clicking the Delete button. Only Configurator (.iccs) and Viewable (.3js, .zip)files can be opened at this time.

My Sent Notifications

The Sent Notifications page is used to manage the notifications sent by the user. It can be accessed by going to the top bar menu and selecting Notifications → Sent Notifications.

Please note only Notifications delivered by the Internal method will be listed on this page. It provides a way for the user to check notifications they have sent out, whether or not they have been read. Clicking the Show button will bring up a viewer of the Notification with all details visible, but will not able to be edited. This screen can be exited by selecting Back button at the bottom of the display message. The user can delete old Notifications that are no longer valid.

Clicking the Add New button on this screen will bring an editable Send A Notification screen. This screen can also be brought up by by going to the top bar menu and selecting Notifications → Send a Notification.

The user can fill in the detailed information, including an access URL to any files within the system, and send it out to specific recipients. Below is a short summary of the fields to fill out for notifications:

  • Notification Type – Required Field - The type of Notification being sent. The list is determined by the user access rights. For regular users, there are only two selections, General and File.
  • Subject – Required Field - The Subject of the Notification.
  • Message – Required Field - the actual message of the Notification.
  • Access URL – Optional Field -The URL to access the file connected to the notification.
  • Delivery Methods – Checkbox - How the Notification should be delivered. Email, Internal, or both. Only Internal Notifications are saved in the database.
  • Recipients – Checkbox - The list of users to receive the Notification. For types of System, Admin, Company, and Request, the recipients are pre-determined and not displayed. For General and File types, all users in the company will be listed. The user can select one or more recipients for the notification.
